M-500 is a blend of glassy and polyphosphates formulated for use in potable water distribution systems, once through cooling water systems, and for cleaning of iron, silt, and sand deposits in ion exchange resin beds. In potable water distribution systems, M-500 provides excellent sequestering and corrosion inhibition properties. In water systems that contain levels of iron and manganese that cause red water, staining and discoloration can be effectively treated with M-500 to sequester the iron and manganese, thereby eliminating the effects of these ions. |
