KL MN-605 utilizes a blend of corrosion inhibitors and synthetic polymer dispersants to prevent scale formation and protect metals from corrosion. It also has the ability to redissolve and disperse existing deposits, ensuring the cleanup of previously fouled systems.
Kool Loop MN-605 is suitable for use in recirculating, nonpotable hot and chilled water systems. It is particularly effective in systems with high copper content and those utilizing biocides.
The recommended dosage rate for Kool Loop MN-605 is 1 quart per 50 to 100 gallons of water in the system. This dosage maintains a residual of 100-200 ppm of Molybdenum. Dosages may need to be adjusted based on the system’s makeup water volume and the corrosivity of the water.
Kool Loop MN-605 can be applied manually using a bypass-type feeder for systems with lower makeup water requirements. For systems with large makeup water needs or high corrosivity, it is advisable to feed MN-605 automatically using a chemical feed pump on a continuous or intermittent basis.
