Stone Cutting Dewatering Solutions
In stone cutting, polishing, and finishing, water is a vital part of stone cutting and quarry operations. It helps to keep tools from overheating and reduces dust from operations. Water used in this process must be treated before it can be used again. As an authorized dealer of Matec Equipment, we’re bringing you the best equipment to facilitate that process. Matec systems are designed and manufactured for any sector that deals with waste water and silt.
Dewatering Solutions for Stone Cutting Slurries with ChemREADY
Stay Compliant with Environmental Regulations
Compliance with environmental laws is essential. New technologies in wastewater and slurry treatment make it easier to meet these standards without compromising plant efficiency.
Advanced Matec Technology for Efficient Water Reuse
As an authorized Matec distributor, ChemREADY provides advanced filter presses to optimize water recovery, reduce sludge, and increase plant returns. Matec systems enable stone cutting facilities to reuse clean water and dispose of sludge in an eco-friendly, cost-effective way.
What Is Stone Cutting?
How Stone Cutting Works and Wastewater Management
Stone cutting involves cutting and grinding raw stone into usable materials. Our Matec systems efficiently treat wastewater, using deep cone vertical thickeners and flocculants to purify water. Residual mud is directed to a homogenizer tank, then to a filter press to create dry cakes with residual moisture levels as low as 7-8%.
There decantation takes place and purified water overflows into a clean water collection area. Any mud left over is sent into a Bifang homogenizer tank, then to a filter press where dry cakes are formed and discharged. With Matec presses, they beat the average residual moisture of cakes of 20% to as low as 7-8%. Why is dewatering important in stone cutting?
Dewatering is essential in stone cutting as it reduces waste volume, enables water reuse, and ensures compliance with environmental regulations.
How do Matec filter presses improve water recovery?
Matec filter presses separate solids from water, allowing for clean water reuse and creating dry cakes with minimal residual moisture for easier disposal.
What happens to wastewater in stone cutting?
Wastewater is treated with flocculants, passes through thickeners, and is then filtered to separate clean water from sludge.
What compliance benefits does ChemREADY offer?
As an authorized Matec dealer, ChemREADY provides technology that meets environmental standards, helping plants achieve compliance efficiently.
