ChemREADY Acquires Chemway, Inc.

Deal expands integrated water treatment services across Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland

TWINSBURG, Ohio, Aug. 28, 2026 — ChemREADY, an integrated water treatment partner serving industrial and commercial facilities across the United States, today announced the acquisition of Chemway, Inc., a Pittsburgh-area water treatment chemicals and services firm. The acquisition expands ChemREADY’s geographic footprint and strengthens its ability to deliver fully integrated water treatment programs to facilities throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland.

Founded in 1992 and built over two generations of family leadership under President Laura Ryan, Chemway has earned a strong reputation for practical, reliable water treatment programs, responsive service, and long-term customer partnerships across industrial and institutional facilities in the Mid-Atlantic. The company’s technical expertise and customer-first approach align directly with ChemREADY’s operating philosophy: one accountable partner for the full water treatment program.

“Chemway brings a highly respected team, deep application expertise, and strong customer relationships in key Mid-Atlantic markets, and their commitment to practical, accountable service mirrors exactly how we operate. This acquisition means more facilities across Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland now have access to a fully integrated water treatment program — chemistry, equipment, field service, and monitoring under one partner. That’s what Total Water Confidence looks like.”

Dominik Elsaesser — CEO, ChemREADY

“Chemway has always been about our people, our customers, and the relationships we’ve built over the years. In considering the future of the company, it was important to find a partner who shared those values and understood the importance of the personal service our customers have come to expect. Our customers will continue to work with the same team they know and trust, while benefiting from the additional resources and capabilities ChemREADY brings.”

Laura Ryan — President, Chemway, Inc.

Ryan is joining ChemREADY’s leadership team and will continue to lead the Chemway team. Chemway will continue to operate from its Pittsburgh location, serving customers throughout the region.

The acquisition strengthens ChemREADY’s capacity to deliver its full-service model across all four verticals — Water Treatment, Water Safety, Wastewater, and Dewatering — while preserving the local, customer-first service Chemway customers expect. Existing Chemway customers will continue to receive the same trusted service from the same local team, now supported by ChemREADY’s expanded technical resources and national platform.

With the backing of Plexus Capital, ChemREADY will continue to grow through acquisitions of established water treatment companies, water safety consultants, and wastewater chemical specialists. The company is focused on partnering with firms that share its commitment to technical excellence, proactive service, and long-term customer relationships.
