Acquisition adds nearly 80 years of industrial water treatment experience and strengthens ChemREADY’s service coverage across New Jersey
TWINSBURG, Ohio, Aug. 28, 2026 — ChemREADY, an integrated water treatment partner serving industrial and commercial facilities across the United States, today announced the acquisition of Associated Water Conditioners (AWC), a New Jersey-based water treatment chemicals, equipment, and services firm. The acquisition brings established industrial and commercial water treatment accounts and a team of experienced service technicians to ChemREADY, deepening its service coverage across New Jersey.
Founded in 1947, AWC is one of the region’s longest-standing water treatment firms, providing boiler and cooling water treatment programs to industrial and commercial facilities from its offices and laboratory in Roxbury, New Jersey. Owner Art Lee will remain with the company through a transition period before retiring, and the entire AWC team is joining ChemREADY — strengthening and expanding the regional team already serving customers across the Northeast.

AWC customers will see no disruption to service: the same technicians, service schedules, and points of contact remain in place, now backed by ChemREADY’s broader chemistry, equipment, and monitoring resources. Existing AWC customers also gain access to ChemREADY’s full range of water treatment, water safety, wastewater, and dewatering services as their needs grow.
